He prayed in the Garden of Gethsemane. First Jesus said "If it is possible, let this cup pass from me." But then he said, "Not my will but Your will be done." Finally he said, "Father, I may not understand You, but I trust You." Losing three sons has been difficult to understand but dear Heavenly Father we totally trust You and Your plan for us! I will be eternally grateful to Russell for loving and caring for Mary Ellen, Brett and Colton. He did the very best he knew how in taking care of them. We say 'Good job Rus. You will always be in our hearts, you magnificent man. Heaven is lucky!'"
