2006 Miss America's Outstanding Teen Pageant Telecast

The 2006 Miss America's Outstanding Teen Competition will premiere its very first televised event on The N, the nighttime network for teens, with a two-hour special on Saturday, October 28 at 9:00 p.m. (ET).

The N, the nighttime network for teens, is a programming arm of MTV Networks and is currently available in 50 million households via cable, digital cable and satellite television. The N's mission is to be the authentic voice for teens and help them figure out their lives with relevant, topical programming on-air and online at the network's web site www.the-n.com.  The N airs everyday from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. (ET). The N and all related titles, characters and logos are trademarks of Viacom International Inc.

2007 Pageant

Miss America’s activities at the Aladdin begin with the Pageant Preliminaries, which include swimsuit, talent and evening wear competitions, on Thursday, January 25 and continue through Saturday, January 27 at the newly-remodeled Theatre for the Performing Arts. The 2007 Miss America Pageant two-hour telecast will air live on CMT, Monday, January 29, 2007 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

2007 Miss America Pageant to Air Live on CMT

The 2007 MISS AMERICA PAGEANT will return to the Aladdin Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. The two-hour telecast will air live on CMT, Monday, January 29, 2007 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

CMT announced an expanded programming strategy to support the 2007 MISS AMERICA PAGEANT, which includes some nine hours of television devoted to Miss America. This programming features a two-hour contestant special, which will air on CMT and its sister networks, VH1, MTV and Logo; a one-hour special on Miss America 2006, Jennifer Berry; a one-hour look at GREATEST MISS AMERICA MOMENTS; and Miss America features on the popular CMT TOP 20 COUNTDOWN and CMT INSIDER. Additional programming will be available exclusively on the CMT LOADED, VOD, CMT.com, CMT Radio and CMT Mobile. 

The 2006 MISS AMERICA PAGEANT premiered on CMT last January and ranks as the most-watched telecast in CMT’s history with total viewers*. Since its premiere, re-airings of the Pageant have been seen by more than 22 million different viewers.
