Brenda E. Keith

Vice Chair

Brenda E. Keith of Derry, New Hampshire, has volunteered with the Miss America Organization for more than 30 years.  A past local chapter leader (Miss Derry), she served as President of the Miss New Hampshire Organization from October of 2000 until October of 2018 when she joined the Miss America Board of Directors.

She holds a B.S., magna cum laude, in Business Management from Franklin Pierce College, and a J.D. from Boston University School of Law.  A partner with the Boutin Law firm in Londonderry, New Hampshire, she is a former elected member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives and the Derry Town Council.

Active in civic organizations all her adult life (past President, Greater Derry Jaycees and Derry Village Rotary), Brenda currently serves as a Trustee of Pinkerton Academy—a public academy that is New Hampshire’s largest high school.

Brenda is a fan of the space program, musical theater, the Boston Ballet, Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots, and as a former racecar driver, NASCAR stockcar races.  Attorney Keith, who has served as Vice-Chair of the Board since June of 2019, indicates she enjoys serving on the Licensing Committee and assisting the State Organizations.  I think that I can assist the States struggling with nonprofit corporate governance issues.  With my business management and accounting background I hope to take the mystery out of the paperwork chase!
