iHeart Z100 Podcast: Emma Broyles On Working With The Special Olympics + Thanksgiving Day Parade


Miss America, Emma Broyles, joins Maxwell and Crystal at Z100 to talk all about her work and being at the Thanksgiving Day Parade this year.

Emma Broyles was crowned Miss Alaska 2021 and on December 16, 2021, the 100th anniversary, she was crowned Miss America. She is the first Korean-American Miss America titleholder and the first Miss Alaska to be crowned Miss America. Now we are going to be able to see her at the 96th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

While in the studio, Broyles tells us all about the crown which she had stored underneath her seat during the interview. She admits to wearing a a lot of bobby pins in order to make sure the crown doesn’t fall off her head and shares that the competition doesn’t give her any rules after she brings it home. “Maybe just don’t drop it,” Broyles jokes.
