Scholastic Ambition: To become a Physician’s Assistant who specializes in Pediatric Oncology

My Motivation: Seeing and experiencing the injustices people face and my desire to make a difference.

My Defining Moment: After speaking about my platform to a group of high school students, one of their chaperones asked to personally speak with me. He shared with me that while giving my talk, I helped him change his position on same-sex marriage to be more accepting.

Bio: Jennifer Davis is a graduate of Saint Louis University, receiving a BA in Communication. Jennifer is a published author of a children’s book titled, “Diversity Matters.” She promotes her platform throughout the state of Missouri speaking to students of all ages about the importance of embracing diversity. She has volunteered with CMNH, St. Louis Crisis Nursery, Adopt a Grandparent, Seed to Table, Call to Action Catholic Social Justice Network, and the Human Rights Office. Jennifer plans to extend her education by attending graduate school with the hopes of pursuing her dream of becoming a Pediatric Oncology Physician’s Assistant.
