Career Ambition: My career ambition is to one day work as a Physical Therapist with advanced certification in Sports Physical Thereapy

Talent: Contemporary Clogging

Social Impact Initiative: My social impact initiative incorporates the concept of thought challenge and replacement simply by the act of challenging and then replacing a negative thought with a more helpful or positive one. The replacement of negative psychological messages with ones of encouragement can build self-esteem and confidence leaving individuals happier and mentally healthier.

What is the best advice you’ve ever received? The best advice I have ever received is to celebrate the little victories along the journey to achieving a big goal. This advice was given to me by my elementary school librarian who had a heart for encouraging her students to take small steps every day that will positively impact their future goals and aspirations. That advice was something I took to heart and impacted my ability to look at each new day with the mindset of being intentional and appreciative of the new opportunities that day could hold.
