Every year The Miss America Organization awards thousands of dollars in scholarship to young women across America. The 2023 Miss America Grace Stance just won over $68,000 through participation in the program.

The Miss America Organization

The Miss America Organization (MAO) is a the over 101+ year old organization that controls and oversees the local, state and national competition framework, provides education and support to all Miss America membership, hosts the annual Miss America Competition and the Miss America’s Teen Competition and so much more.  Miss America delegates working towards college or postgraduate degrees can earn scholarship awards to help further their education. MAO is comprised of 51 licensed organizations- including all 50 states and the District of Columbia.

The Miss America Foundation

The Miss America Foundation (MAF) is a separate 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that serves as the scholarship arm that processes scholarships for recipients across the country. MAF proudly offers academic and community-based scholarships for undergraduate and graduate studies, as well as endowed scholarships for those young women attending medical school, working in special areas for military service awareness and in the performing arts.
