Secret Wish or Dream: To write a book encouraging others to pursue their aspirations despite life’s challenges. Coming from a low-income family with a diverse background, a mother from the Philippines and a father who served in the U.S. military, I would like to share my personal experiences and the life lessons I have learned to provide perspective and empowerment.

My Hobbies: I enjoy writing, video editing, indulging on guilty pleasures like pizza rolls and chicken wings, window shopping, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Bio: As the daughter of a Filipina immigrant and a 20-year U.S. Navy corpsman, MaddieRose Holler learned the values of discipline, hard work, and perseverance at an early age. Earning nearly $14,000 in MAO scholarships, she is funding her education at Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication as a first-generation college student. Utilizing her desire to serve those who serve us, she assumed the role of President for the Arizona 501(c)3, Military Family Support Group, assisting in the shipment of thousands of care packages as a symbol of the country’s love, pride, and patriotism.
