My Defining Moment: Studying abroad in New Zealand was such a transformative experience for me because it was the first time I truly believed I was enough, as I was, without any title, accomplishment, or success validating my worth. I did some deep soul searching, figured out who I was and who I wanted to be, and discovered that I no longer had to live under the labels the world stuck on me.

Bio: As a little girl, Nicole dreamed of becoming Miss America so she set her life in the trajectory that would allow her to achieve this goal. She wanted different experiences and stretched outside her comfort zone to push herself beyond what she thought possible. After living in three different countries, traveling extensively, and working with national companies, Nicole understands the job of Miss America and is ready to further enhance the brand. As a future broadcast journalist who overcame negative body image, her ability to speak on air and to audiences has prepared her to encourage the next generation of leaders.
