Secret Wish or Dream: My secret dream would be to teach at a military base overseas. I would be honored to educate and support the children of our military families.

My Defining Moment: At nine years old, I was diagnosed with a disease that affected my nervous system and made it impossible for me to dance or walk normally for over a year. I realized how important dance was to me and I decided I would never allow anything to keep me from my passion again.

Bio: Abby is junior at Ball State University, working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. She would like to earn her Doctoral degree in Education Administration. Her life was forever changed when she joined College Mentors for Kids; a program that connects college students with children who need a positive role model. By joining the program, she learned first-hand the impact we can make on children’s lives through mentoring. In addition to serving as an ambassador for CMN Hospitals, she would like to continue advocating for mentoring and the positive effects it has on future generations.
