Bio: At age 16, McKenna founded a small business and signed a contract as a professional ballet dancer. During her college years, McKenna founded a dance outreach program and received a scholarship and grant from her university to work across the state. McKenna served a congressional internship for U.S. House Speaker, Paul Ryan, which sparked her passion for her platform – celebrating diversity of opinion and civility in discourse. After college, where she is pursing degrees in communications and political science, McKenna plans to obtain a law degree and aspires to work as a congressional policy advisor in Washington, D.C.
