“I am excited to join forces with the new Miss America 2.0 and provide Miss America 2019 with a wardrobe for her year of service. I support the program’s new mission and am eager to continue to work with the young women in this program who are true examples for what they should see and strive to become,” said Ms. Minkoff.

Rebecca Minkoff kicked off its support of #grlpwr by providing each of the 51 candidates the official count down watches of Miss America 2019.

“Working together, Rebecca Minkoff and Miss America 2019 will be focusing on advancing the mission of Miss America 2.0 ~ To prepare great women for the world and prepare the world for great women,” said Regina Hopper, Miss America Organization President & CEO.

After she is chosen, Miss America 2019 will develop goals and execute on tactics to advance her chosen social impact initiative, setting metrics and developing partnerships which will show positive results at the end of her year of service.
