Georgia, Oregon, and Virginia Win Preliminary Awards at the Second Night of the Miss America 2020 Competition
Two Nights of Preliminaries Conclude at the Miss America 2020 Competition at Mohegan Sun

Uncasville, CT (December 17, 2019) –  The second and final night of Preliminaries for the Miss America 2020 Competition, took place last evening, once again in the Mohegan Sun Earth Expo & Convention Center. Both nights of the Miss America 2020 Competition were live-streamed for the first time in Miss America’s history.

Second night preliminary winners are:

Victoria Hill

Victoria Hill, representing Georgia, was named the on-stage question winner, and she will receive a $1,000 scholarship. This was Victoria’s second win during the Preliminaries. During the first night of Preliminaries, she won for talent and received a $2,000 scholarship.

Shivali Kadam

Shivali Kadam, representing Oregon, was named the winner of the private interview. Shivali will receive a $1,500 scholarship award.

Camille Schrier

Camille Schrier, representing Virginia, was named talent winner for her chemistry demonstration of the catalytic decomposition of hydrogen peroxide. Camille will receive a $2,000 scholarship award.

The Miss America 2020 Competition broadcast will simultaneously stream live on the NBC app and on NBC.com on Thursday, December 19, at 8:00 PM ET. Viewers can watch, on multiple platforms, the new, exciting, interactive, and dramatic selection process of one young woman who will earn a job with a six-figure salary and the crown of Miss America.
